Phew! What a year 2019 has been. It's been a politically charged year that has many of us feeling anxious and perhaps a little blue going into 2020. Next year is sure to follow in 2019's footsteps but maybe we can all learn to be a little more optimistic about the future. Here at Jake by the Lake, we know that 'good vibes' can go a long way. Every year, the Pantone Color Institute comes out with their colour of the year. For 2020, it's Classic Blue 19-4052. Purposely chosen in these heavy times as it produces a sense of calm and serenity. It's the colour of the deep sea, the sky at night when the stars are bright and it symbolizes peace and tranquility. Not surprisingly, a blue close to the Life is Good logo. Optimism. It's what Life is Good is all about, Charlie Brown.
This holiday season, let's bring a little more blue into our lives, not just red and green. Let's love a little more. Let's work towards peace a little more. And most importantly, let's bring joy into our lives just a little more.
